Banner Health opens first primary care center in Scottsdale; plus 5 more Valley deals to know
Phoenix-based Banner Health opened the newly built Banner Health Center Raintree at
8901 E. Raintree Drive in Scottsdale.
The 12,000-square-foot facility is home to 10 providers specializing in internal medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, behavioral health and general pediatrics. In the future, additional specialists will rotate through the facility to provide patients with convenient access to care.
This is Banner's first primary care center to open in Scottsdale, a spokesperson from the health network said. It complements other Banner specialty locations in the city including Banner Sports Medicine Scottsdale, Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, Banner Physical Therapy locations, Banner Urgent Care locations, Banner Imaging locations and an orthopedic specialty physician practice.
The spokesperson said Banner also has plans for another Banner Health Center on Pinnacle Peak and Miller Road to serve Scottsdale residents.
Banner Health is Arizona's largest employer, as well as the largest nonprofit and largest health system. It has more than 100 health center or clinic locations in the Phoenix metro and has
$1 billion in construction projects planned in Arizona.
